Freeze Dried Diced Hatch Chile: How It Works and Why It's Different
Freeze drying captures chile at peak condition. Moisture is removed under low temperature and pressure, leaving flavor compounds, natural color, and heat level largely intact. Freeze-dried diced hatch chile retains a profile that comes much closer to fresh-roasted chile than typical dehydrated or canned options.
