Fresh New Mexico Green Chile

Our fresh chile comes from one farm. Snake Ranch Farms sits along the Rio Grande in Lemitar, New Mexico, about 90 miles north of Hatch, and the Sichler family has been farming that ground since 1872.

Six generations later they are still on it. In 2015 the New Mexico State Fair named them Farm Family of the Year.

People ask why we don't call this Hatch chile. Because it isn't. Lemitar is its own growing region with its own soil and its own season, which is also why our harvest runs a little later than Hatch's. We would rather tell you exactly where your chile came from than borrow a name that sells better.
