Frozen Prepared Foods
New Mexican cooking, already made, waiting in the freezer.
Tamales built by hand with masa, seasoned meat and red or green chile sauce. Pork burritos in flour tortillas. Green chile stew. These come from kitchens that still do it the slow way, spreading the masa by hand and making the chile sauce from scratch.
Freezing is not the shortcut here. It is what makes a holiday meal possible on a Tuesday night, and turns a real lunch into ten minutes instead of an afternoon.
How it ships
Frozen orders leave Monday through Wednesday only, packed in an insulated box with gel packs and sent UPS 2-Day Air, so nothing sits in a depot over a weekend. Because it has to arrive frozen, we ship only where UPS can reach in two days. No PO boxes, no international.
FAQs
How long do frozen tamales keep?
Up to six months at a steady freezer temperature. Reheat in a steamer, a microwave or the oven.
How do you keep it from thawing in transit?
Insulated packaging, gel packs and UPS 2-Day Air, shipped Monday through Wednesday.
What if it arrives soft?
Cold and firm is fine, use it or refreeze it. If a box arrives at room temperature and soft, do not eat it. Email us the same day with a photo.
